Antiquarian book restoration and repair in Devon

After relocating from London back to Devon, Claire Bujniewicz embarked on a bookbinding apprenticeship with the Dutch Bookbinder George Janssen and has now set up Rushlow Bookbinding in East Devon. 

Working from her studio in Colyton, Claire restores and rebinds rare and antiquarian books. Using quality materials and Victorian tools, she sympathetically renovates volumes in keeping with the original design. Producing work with care and attention to detail and with a passion for fine craftmanship, Claire is trusted by churches, private collectors, and dealers.  With year’s experience, Claire is skilled in both the restoration and finishing of books.
